Privacy Policy

IntelliScrape is an open-source scraping toolkit. We don't sell your data, run ads, or track you for marketing purposes. This policy covers the open-source library, the website, and the hosted service.

The IntelliScrape Python library collects no data. It runs entirely on your machine. No telemetry, no phone-home, no analytics. When you scrape a website with the library, the only entities that see that traffic are you, your network, and the target site.

This website (intelliscrape.dev) is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may collect basic access logs (IP, user agent, timestamp) for operational purposes. We do not use cookies, analytics trackers, or advertising pixels. The scrape demo on the homepage sends requests to the target URL you enter — we don't store the URL or the result beyond your session.

The hosted API (intelliscrape.dev) processes scrape jobs submitted via the REST API or web dashboard. Data handling:

• Scrape results are retained for up to 7 days, then deleted.
• We don't read, analyze, or sell your scrape results.
• Request metadata (URL, timestamp, status) is logged for operational monitoring and abuse prevention.
• Fingerprint data submitted with scrape requests is used solely for anti-detection and is not persisted beyond the session.

The hosted service uses Neon (PostgreSQL) for operational metadata and Vercel for website hosting. Both are SOC 2 compliant providers. We don't use third-party analytics, CRMs, or advertising platforms.

This website uses no cookies. The hosted dashboard uses a single session cookie for authentication — it's deleted when you log out.

We don't share your data with third parties. Period. The only external services we use are infrastructure providers (Vercel, Neon, FastAPI Cloud) that process data on our behalf under standard data processing agreements.

If we update this policy, we'll post the changes here with an updated date. Material changes will be announced on our blog and GitHub.
